The top legal official in Texas Paxton is filing a lawsuit against the producers of Tylenol, asserting the firms concealed safety concerns that the pain reliever created to children's cognitive development.

The court filing comes thirty days after Donald Trump publicized an unsubstantiated connection between taking Tylenol - alternatively called paracetamol - throughout gestation and autism in offspring.

The attorney general is filing suit against the pharmaceutical giant, which previously sold the drug, the sole analgesic approved for pregnant women, and the current manufacturer, which currently produces it.

In a official comment, he stated they "betrayed America by making money from suffering and promoting medication regardless of the risks."
